Panic Attacks

I went to a new Stitch & Bitch tonight. New as in new to me. It was an established group.

First of all, Mum came to visit today – I picked her up, we visited Wickes, had a quick look round Romsey and then I bought her back here.

I dropped her back in Southampton and then set off looking for Grovsner Square car park – my first problem was Waze couldn’t find it then neither could Apple maps.

Eventually, I found it then searched on Apple maps for The Art House.

It located it quite quickly and I started following the directions and after a few minutes the blue line I was following on the map ran out.

Well, it was obvious I was nowhere near The Art House, I was nowhere I knew at all.

Suddenly, I couldn’t breathe properly, my heart was racing, I was very close to tears and my guts were so knotted up they were in agony.

I managed to ask a couple of people if they knew where The Art House is and nobody seemed to have heard from it.

I found my way back to Above Bar St and walked down it and there it was!

I went in and found the group – I had already met two of the group in different circumstances on the Island.

But one of them was the only person to speak to me all night.

By the time I’d calmed down, it was 7.30 so I decided to leave.

Thankfully, I remembered where I parked the car!

Got S&B in Ikea tomorrow – already been there once, so I know they’re a chatty bunch!

I’ve got an appointment with my new GP next Wednesday so I’m going to talk him/her about what happened as this isn’t the first time it’s happened.

But today, every time I think about going out, I feel slightly sick :(
