My new Malden

I decided I really wanted a Malden, Personal size in Ochre.

I asked about, but no one seemed willing to part with theirs, I hunted online, but they were around £70!

Then someone in the philofaxy facebook group pointed me to Colemans! They had the Malden for around £50! I decided I was worthy of a Christmas present and ordered one.

Then a man called David told me he had one for sale and he only wanted £30+p&p for it, I called Coleman’s and cancelled my order (which hadn’t been sent) and paid David.

This morning I heard the post hit the mat, but I was so tired after all the adrenaline last night that I didn’t get up straight away – besides, I knew Jess was waiting for a parcel and I wasn’t expecting it to arrive until Friday.

But when I got up and wandered downstairs, the parcel had my name on it!!!

I was very good, I did the morning chores first (fed Isis, checked the chins had food & water) before sitting down with a cup of tea.

Well, it was simply beautiful! The smell of leather wafted out of the envelope and it felt so buttery when I pulled it out.

Here, have a look!

Gorgeous Malden

I don’t know why the video won’t embed – I will ask my friend who answers all my stupid blog questions LOL
